— OUR PROGRAMS
Building confidence through community
Programs across Moreton Bay for children, teenagers and adults — built around connection, belonging and everyday confidence.
Programs run alongside one-to-one supports, and often after them. When someone has come home from hospital, months can go by focused on simply getting through the day. Programs are how a week starts to feel worth looking forward to again.
Every group is capped so our team gets to know each person properly. And if a program isn't working for someone, we change the program rather than asking them to cope with it.
-
Getting out, meeting people, and building the kind of everyday social confidence that only comes from doing rather than talking. Participants join local outings, group activities and one-to-one mentoring built around their own interests — from kicking a ball at the park to catching up over coffee with a peer who gets it.
Outdoor sport & recreation — informal games and active outings that build fitness, coordination and comfort in group settings
Mentor & peer support — regular one-to-one time with a mentor, building trust, communication and a sense of being understood
Community outings & local adventures — markets, parks, cafés and events, building confidence navigating the community independently
Participants become more comfortable starting a conversation, trying a new place, and taking part in community life without needing to be prompted.
-
Everyday tasks broken down and practised in real settings, so the skills stick and carry over into daily life at home and school. Programs are hands-on — cooking, budgeting, planning a day out, working through a disagreement — rather than taught in the abstract.
Adventures growth program — structured outings and challenges that build problem-solving and decision-making under real, low-stakes pressure
After-school & youth programs — regular sessions building routine, peer connection and communication in a supported group
School holiday programs — full-day activities that keep skills and routines active over the break, and give families a workable holiday plan
Participants build a working toolkit for managing emotions, solving problems and handling everyday situations with less support over time.
-
Movement as something enjoyable, not clinical. Sessions are adapted to each participant's ability and built around participation and enjoyment first, with fitness and confidence as the natural result rather than the sales pitch.
Adaptive sports & movement — modified sports and physical activities suited to individual ability and comfort
Creative & wellness workshops — art, music and relaxation-based sessions supporting emotional wellbeing and self-expression
Participants get regular movement and creative expression in a way that builds physical confidence and is genuinely enjoyable — which is what keeps them turning up.
-
Support that extends to the whole family, delivered in a way that respects each person's sensory and communication needs. Environments, pacing and activities are adjusted so participants and their families can take part comfortably and at their own pace.
Neurodivergent-inclusive programs — flexible structure, sensory-aware environments, and clear, predictable communication about what's happening and when
Parent hub — coffee, chat & community — an informal space for parents and carers to connect, compare notes and get support from people in the same position
Families gain a reliable, understanding network, and participants take part in programs that work with their needs rather than against them.
— GETTING STARTED
How to join a program
1
Tell us who it's for
Age, interests, what's worked before and what hasn't. A phone call is usually faster than a form.
2
Come and look
Participants and families are welcome to visit a session before committing to anything.
3
Start small
One session a fortnight is a perfectly good start. Most people build up from there.
